Fab Fave Beatles Pix (favorite pictures of The Beatles)
Fab Fave Beatles Pix
... favorite group pictures, anyroad
Even though I've never been to the London Palladium, this poster has always been
one of my favorite pictures, partly because
one just like it hung on the inside of my bedroom door for years and years.
In some part of my mind John, Paul, George and Ringo
will always be those cute, cheeky Liverpudlians in their early 20s with the slightly shaggy hair
and trendy boots.
This picture is just gorgeous (sigh!)
It's a laugh a minute with Lennon & Company!
The picture on the left was taken by Harry Benson who toured with the Beatles through
their early years to take photos of them, many of which have been published in his book
Once there was a way... photographs of the beatles
The "jump" pic was taken by Dezo Hoffman, who
also is responsible for those supercute pictures of The Beatles in old fashioned bathing suits
in 1963. With the Beatles: The Historic Photographs of Dezo Hoffman
is a collection of some of Hoffman's best photos of the Fab Four.
They're just so dern cute in this one which I scanned from the 1968 Beatles Fan Club bulletin.
Anyone know the photographer?
"All You Need Is Love"
Ooooooooo, mysterious. This picture reminds me of the "Meet The Beatles/
With The Beatles" cover shot by Robert Freeman but I believe this one was taken by
Richard Avedon who's probably best known by Beatle fans for his psychedelic portraits.
